Enrique Iglesias pulls out of Britney Spears' tour

Pop star enrique iglesias has pulled out of britney spears' tour just hours after she announced it on US TV. Britney sang in a pre-recorded performance on Good Morning America that aired yesterday and then made an exclusive announcement that she would be touring with Igesias. But a representative for the 35-year-old told the summer Associated Press that Enrique will not be going on tour with Spears 'despite initial reports based on formal discussions of the possible run.' A statement read that Iglesias 'is very sorry or the confusion this might have caused to anyone.' Spears, 29, is set to tour in support of her new Femme Fatale album, starting in June.

Enrique Iglesias hails Britney a 'survivor'

Enrique Iglesias has hailed Britney Spears a 'survivor'. The 35-year-old singer, who teamed up with Spears for hit Heartbeat last year, said that he is excited about her comeback track Hold It Against Me, which has topped the download charts in more than 20 countries. He told More magazine, "I'm a Britney fan, I like her new song. I think she's a survivor - she just keeps on going. It's amazing. The Latino star added that he has also got a lot of love for former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger. "She's beautiful.
You can see she's really athletic. We're on the same record label, so we've known each other for years."
